South Coastal Animal Health opened it's doors on July 10th, 2006. Owned and operated by Dr. Grace Strake, SCAH is a new, state of the art veterinary practice with a personal touch. Unlike larger hospitals, at South Coastal you will develop a one on one relationship with the doctor and the staff. We offer comprehensive animal health care ranging from preventative medicine and vaccinations to intensive care cases and involved surgical procedures. At South Coastal we pride ourselves on our top quality care, modern, fully equipped facility and friendly, knowledgeable staff.

We are open for appointments and emergencies during normal business hours and on Saturdays.
We are in the process of building a new clinic as we have truly outgrown our present location. The new hospital will still be on Route 18 but about 1/2 mild North of our present site. Construction is underway now and it's very exciting to watch it go up! We will have a much larger waiting room with separate cat and dog waiting areas, six exam rooms and larger surgery and treatment suites. The new hospital was designed by Copich and Associates in Ohio, a firm specialized in Veterinary design and is being built by Acella Construction of Norwell. Below is a picture of our new home as it looks now. We are expecting to move by the end of the year.
